874501 – VALVE SHUT-OFF EMERGENCY JIS5K, GLOBE PNEUMATIC ESG-25-PC

IMPA 874501 – VALVE SHUT-OFF EMERGENCY JIS5K, GLOBE PNEUMATIC ESG-25-PC – For marine use on tanks containing oil fuel, lub. oil and other flammable oil which are required to have valves closed from safe positions outside the space concerned. Made of cast iron and available two types of style : Globe type and Angle type, and also available two types of operation : Pneumatic Control type and Wire Rope Pull type as shown below, for both types of flange specification, JIS type and DIN type. Shut-off Operation ; The Pneumatic Control Type : Only open the compressed air supply valve connected from air reservoir. Air reservoir should be kept certain pressure between 0.39 MPa and 0.89 MPa.
The Wire Rope Pull Type : Only pull the lever connected with wire rope. For manual shut, these valves are able to close with handle wheel by rotating in clockwise direction. Reset after Shut-off (1) Rotate clockwise until a head of piston is set in the grooving on spindle, and then rotate counterclockwise the handle to set valve in full open condition. (2) For small size valves (Max. 3”) under the low level of liquid in tank (max. 5 mtr height), the valves can be reset with one touch by lifting the handle upward. * Regarding Pneumatic Control Type, (1) or (2) should be applied after air supply valve is closed.
