IMPA 335103 – SAFETY SIGN LOWER LIFEBOAT, 150X150MM – SOLAS Chapter II-2 Regulation 28. 1. 10, requires all escape route signs to be photoluminescent material or marked by light or both. IMO publication IMO-981E indicates that exit signs should comprise of a ‘running man’ pictogram, an arrow and the word ‘EXIT’. The signs shown comply fully with these IMO requirements. When used as part of a Low Location Lighting system, the installer must ensure sufficient ambient light available to activate the sign to attain the required performance.
